Spring at Last!!!

Well I think it may be safe to say that spring has arrived. Good weather means outdoors! Kountry Kat has some excellent Mennonite outdoor furniture suppliers too. We have some new lines from our Mennonite friends like the Harrington Bedroom by Edwin. This beautiful line of furniture is on display in the store right now. We have a gorgeous 9 drawer dresser, mirror, armoire, 6 drawer chest, 2 drawer night stand and a queen bed with low footboard. All made in Speckled Cherry with Amber finish. It is something you have to see to appreciate. Abraham has started a new line as well...The Bevel Top Office... with really nice detailing on the bookcases, desk(with or without hutch) and filing cabinets in several sizes. This is a beautiful, classy, set of office furniture that still retains that nice rustic look. Again you can view this on our Kountry Kat Mennonite Furniture facebook page. Abraham has also started making the Saddle Bench which is one of my personal favorites. It comes in 2, 3, 4 and 5 seaters. It looks like a fabulous sculpture when made in Wormy Maple. and it is comfortable too! so have a look folks and when I get time I will post more pics. Floor Model Sale

Good morning all. Well Christmas is almost upon us and nothing can be better than a gift that lasts for generations. Although custom orders will not be available for Christmas delivery at this late date (orders take 4 to 6 weeks to create! Remember it is made just for you) we do have some beautiful floor models available at reduced prices. All of our furniture is SOLID wood and made by our Mennonite friends using time tested methods of furniture construction. We have beautiful rustic and rough sawn furniture that will stand up to the wear and tear of a comfortable stress free lifestyle. We have makers that do beautiful traditional style furniture as well as Arts and Crafts style. There are many pieces that have a contemporary aesthetic and depending on the finish you choose a piece can look any way you want it to! There are several Canadian wood species to choose from including pine, wormy maple, hard maple, brown maple, oak, ash, 1/4 sawn oak, speckled cherry and cherry. Not all species are available in all of our pieces but talk to us and we will see what we can do. There are many finishes available in both stain and paint and combinations of the two.
